Cracking Down on Impaired Drivers

Law enforcement officers in North Carolina and Tennessee are cracking down on impaired drivers traveling across state lines. They’re taking part in the Hands Across the Boarder enforcement campaign that’s aimed at getting impaired drivers off of the roadways. In addition to being on the lookout for drunk and drugged drivers, law enforcement officers will also be cracking down on seat belt violations, uninsured drivers, suspended licenses, fugitives and other driving offenses.

Law enforcement officers in North Carolina will be checking motorists as they’re leaving the state and heading into Tennessee. Last year, public safety agencies from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Florida participated in the Hands Across the Border campaign.

If you have been injured or if you have lost a loved one in a car accident involving a drunk or drugged driver in or around the Asheville area, contact Davis Law Group, P.A. at 866-397-2897.
