Last week, there was a crash involving two tractor-trailers in Henderson County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened on Interstate 26, near mile marker 57, near the Henderson and Polk County line. Very few details about this semi truck crash have been released, but we do know that one 18-wheeler struck another big rig. Initial reports indicate that a third commercial vehicle is believed to have pulled onto the interstate from the emergency lane, causing the other two trucks to collide.

On Thursday, there was a crash involving a two semi trucks and a utility truck in Henderson County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened on Interstate 26 and sent at least two people to the hospital. The collision occurred at about 10:00 a.m., in the eastbound lanes of I-26, near Exit 44. Very few details about the truck crash have been released, but we do know that a utility truck reportedly merged and collided with a tractor-trailer. That truck hit another big rig, and diesel fuel was spilled onto the roadway. At least two people were transported to Park Ridge Hospital, and a portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews and first responders worked the scene.

Tanker Truck Crash in McDowell County

Last week, we reported on the tanker truck crash that happened in McDowell County. A tanker hauling heating oil overturned beside the roadway and spilled fuel onto the roadway. Although there has been no word on the official cause of the crash, the driver reportedly said that his brakes malfunctioned prior to the wreck.
